Digital Schoolhouse: Engaging younger audiences in VR and digital experiences



Digital Schoolhouse together with Nintendo UK, uses play-based learning to engage the next generation of pupils and teachers with the Computing curriculum. Digital Schoolhouse is delivered by the UK games industry trade body Ukie and is backed by the video games industry and government. Sponsors include PlayStation®, Electronic Arts, SEGA, Ubisoft and Outright Games.


The YSJ VR & AR partnered with Digital Schoolhouse to organise a digital school visit where young pupils engaged in range of digital and VR experiences. From drawing their own games characters, to creating 3D computer animations and immersing themselves in virtual environments; collectively demonstrating to young people how creative technologies work and its influence on their own future career pathways.
